Still to decide

which theme I’m going to settle on. Once I do that I’ll Google some tutorials and try to hack the theme to suit my needs. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Still working it out

For some reason, the main page in this theme only shows a bit of the post – the image in the last post didn’t appear even when it wasn’t part of the “new” section. I’ve been away from hacking themes and how WordPress works for a while – not that I ever was an expert – and don’t know where to start to find the solution. Another thing I need to work out is how to include links – for once I’ve actually written an about page, available on the About section, but not available by a link other than this post.

Oh well, we’re off and running.

The checking and messing about that is. A few more things are working – mostly behind the scenes and I feel like I might want to add things again. Struggling to get the Spell checking and comment validation to work, but I’ll get there…eventually. Now does this addition have a time of sometime in the evening, I wonder?

What a pity that I failed to take into account in the last post that I needed to add a significant amount of content if I want to prove that the activated plug-in actually produces more than the default summary of a post.

A small picture again will probably help make sure that all content is fed. So here goes…

While I’m trying to fill out this post, I’ll add that Firefox 2.0 on a MacBook seems to ignore “enter” in forms to move to a new line and “tab” in navigation – I tried Safari to make sure it wasn’t Mac related. Strange.

Another try

A few plug-ins added, a quick play with a theme and I’m hopeful that complete feeds will be supplied. Fingers crossed.

Time tester

This is another post checking, primarily, the time and how it’s displayed.

If I keep typing away and make the post long enough, I may be able to check the RSS feed from the new host to see if it sends the complete post, rather than the summary that it insisted in sending from the last host, no matter what the settings were changed to.

I wonder, will an image be included? Let’s see, here goes.

Hello

The host changes has happened and it’s time to start over again, for what seems like the umpteenth time.
