Online since the mid nineties, when I lashed out on a 14.4kbps modem to put into my computer - it was good for the time. AOL UK provided the connection initially - it was easy to set-up when you have no knowledge, an attempt at setting up a local supplier’s connection failed and the AOL disc just worked. Many ISP’s and connection speeds later, I now surf using ADSL2+ provided by Be*.
This site has seen many changes - most of them lost. It started off as a place to practice the hand-coded HTML that I was trying to learn, moved to CMS firstly with Greymatter, then Movable Type and is currently produced with the aid of the excellent WordPress. The Internet Archive has cached some of the lost posts without styling, the stylesheets are long gone.
Hosting is currently provided by DreamHost, but has previously been supplied by Surpass, AlwaysWebHosting, A+Hosting, CornerHost, Small Packages & Cedant all of whom I can recommend - I only left each one as my needs grew.
